Community Garden
Purpose
The Fountain Square Community Garden (FSCG) is a collaborative produce-growing space. Through collective volunteer work, the Fountain Square Community Garden grows fresh, nutrient-rich produce for community members who are experiencing a lack of food accessibility.
Volunteer & Donation Information
The FSCG is possible due to partnerships with numerous local organizations who facilitate produce distribution, provide administrative assistance and fiscal agency.
Volunteer opportunities are open to the public and posted on the FSCG Instagram account, as well as distributed through the FSCG volunteer email list. If your organization is interested in hosting a volunteer night, please reach out to us via the email listed below!
The Little Free Pantry at the FSCG (873 Virginia) is always accepting donations, especially dry goods, toiletries, food and beverages. If you are a neighbor in need, help yourself!
Produce is available throughout the warmer seasons at Southeast Community Services (901 Shelby St) & Fletcher Place Community Center (1637 Prospect St).
