Meet the Board

Dakota Pawlicki, President

Dakota and his wife Colleen moved to Fountain Square in 2017. With a professional background in community mobilizations, systems change and nonprofit management, Dakota is focused on improving the QOL for those that call Fountain Square home. He runs a national network of exemplar cross-sector partnerships at CivicLab, hosts a podcast for Lumina Foundation and serves on several boards. When not working he can be found riding his motorcycle, playing his tuba or taking walks around the neighborhood with his dog Otis.

Kelly Sandstrom, Secretary

Kelly has lived in downtown Indianapolis since 2013 and purchased a home on Orange Street in 2022 with her husband Scott, her two black cats Wednesday and Willow, and her dog Fin! Kelly is a leader in the Indianapolis tech community, and also a dedicated project manager both personally and professionally. Kelly currently serves as Secretary of the Board and on the Community Engagement committee, and loves meeting everyone in Fountain Square and connecting to what’s happening in our wonderful neighborhood.

Vince Reece, Director At-Large

Vince and his fiancé, Adam, moved to Fountain square in 2021 after renting in several downtown Indy neighborhoods.  Together they have three very sassy fur children; Motley, Luna, and Granger.  Vince is an IU Bloomington alum and currently works as an CVICU/ECMO Nurse and Educator.  In his free time he enjoys running, cycling, gardening, and woodworking.  Vince joined the FSNA board to have a greater positive impact in his community and bring our Fountain Square neighbors together through community building activities and advocacy.

Tucker Born, Director At-Large

Tucker and his wife Jessica have lived in Fountain Square since 2019 and have loved every second of living in the neighborhood. Tucker works as a Traffic Engineer for the City of Indianapolis and is passionate about improving our city and the quality of life of its residents. Taking that passion closer to home, he joined the Board of FSNA in 2024 to continue to make practical everyday changes to our neighborhood. You might see Tucker and his wife out walking the neighborhood with their two dogs, Fiona and Orecchiette, or playing board games with friends.

Nick Thompson, Director At-Large

Nick moved to Fountain Square in early 2020 from Pike township with his wife Dena and the best cat ever, Simon. They both joined the FSNA and media and marketing committee to get involved in the community and meet the neighbors. Nick enjoys burritos, lifting weights, very short walks, bike rides and being terrible at the drums and golf.

Cameron Perisutti, Director At-Large

Cameron Perisutti is a global study manager and registered pharmacist (Doctor of Pharmacy) at Eli Lilly and Company. Fountain Square is one of Indiana’s most renowned communities. Even when Cameron lived in Cleveland, Ohio, he heard about the vibrant culture and unique charm of Fountain Square. As Cameron went door-to-door throughout Fountain Square as an advocate for environmental justice and public health, he found that many residents were surprised by a neighbor's interest in meeting them. When he asked long-term residents, ‘What has changed the most in Fountain Square in 30 years?’, their answer was not about the reinvestment in buildings, but it was the loss of close relationships with their neighbors. It is Cameron’s goal within FSNA to make sure our neighbors feel connected. Together, we can bring our community closer, strengthen our relationships, and prioritize the well-being of all our neighbors. FSNA is our neighborhood’s channel for a unified voice.

Kelsey Frizzell, Director At-Large

Kelsey is a Spann Ave resident who has a passion for bringing neighbors together and doing life together. She lives with her husband, Tony, and pup Reggie. Together, they moved downtown to be closer to work and live in a vibrant walkable community. During the day, Kelsey spends her time talking about health insurance in the tech industry and on the weekend she is involved in her church community. One of her favorite things about Fountain Square is a Saturday morning walk to Bovacanti followed by a walk to the local flower shop, Flower Boys.
