1000 ft for FSQ

The Fountain Square Neighborhood is a well-known cultural community that boasts three national historic districts along its commercial corridors. While shoppers, diners, and concert-goers alike can walk, jog, or bike along the commercial corridors’ sidewalks, including the well-maintained Cultural Trail, the story for those that call Fountain Square home is quite different.

1000 ft for FSQ is a project that would rehabilitate 1000 linear feet of Fountain Square’s most dilapidated sidewalks in residential areas. Led by FSNA, in partnership with Southeast Community Services, the project seeks a total of $75,000 in funding through the DPW program to repair 1000 ft of sidewalk. To make 1000 ft for FSQ a reality, we need your help. Our goal is to raise $37,500 in pledges, cash, or in-kind donations by January 30, 2022.
